It was a terrible tragedy for Korea. Former president Roh's passing away struck Korea into silence. Roh was being investigated by the Prosecutor's Office for some months because of bribes. He was most recently being investigated because of a house in the USA that he bought in the name of his daughter. However, his sudden death was shocking to people all over the country. More surprisingly, he committed suicide.  According to the newspapers, he fell over a precipice while he was climbing in the early morning. He asked for a cigarette before he committed suicide. Roh's secretaries and guards ran after him immediately, but they couldn't prevent his death. President Lee Myung Bak cancelled all his schedules and discusse urgency counterplans. The CheongWaDae and the Prosecutor's Office are worrying about people being agitated over this difficulty and prepared various counterplans in all big cities. On Sunday, many tents were prepared for people to attend Roh's funeral. Some say that this can shake the national atmosphere and politics. For whatever reason, this a big tragedy in Korea and could have large consequences. I pray for the repose of the deceased.
